| ARTIST: Charles Wesley Sanderson, 1838 -1905 TITLE: Cows in a Meadow SIZE: 12 x 16 MEDIUM: Oil on Canvas, signed LR REMARKS: Sanderson was born in Brandon, VT on July 6, 1838. He studied with Samuel Gerry and James Hope. Traveled and studied in Europe at the Hague and the Academy Julian in Paris. Member Boston Art Club. Opend a large studio in Boston in 1884. After 1892 Sanderson spend his summers on Lake Michigan. Exhibited at the Boston Art Club, Brooklyn Art Association and the Art Institute of Chicago.
