Mahogany folding boxed chess/game set. Having a rectangular hinged case, on the outside opening to a full inlaid chess board, while on the interior opening to an inlaid backgammon board. The set is complete with what appears to be the original chess set and backgammon pieces. Also included are a pair of treen dice shakers.Overall condition is very good. Some age splitting to the boards, red chess set missing the King and a broken bishop. Circa 1850 Open 18 x 16 x 2, closed 9 x 16 x 4

American classical miniature chest of drawers of mahogany and cherry. Having a two drawer super structure above a rectangular top over a large serpentine top drawer without knobs over two slightly inset lower drawers with round wooden pulls, raised on scrolled feet to the front and turned ball feet to the rear with paneled side panels and shaped contrasting wood supports. George III Style Mahogany Tripod Supper Table. The circular lobed top with a central dished reserve surrounded by eight smaller dished reserves divided by shells and leaves on a punched ground. Tilting on a bird cage device above a carved standard raised on tripod cabriole legs with acanthus carved knees terminating in hairy paw feet. Nineteenth Century.
